Preparing for an Interview
Congratulations! You just scored an interview. Now what?
If your interview is in person , make sure you double check the date, time, and location of the interview, as you do not want to be late. However, don't plan to show up too early, as this may make the employer feel rushed to complete their task. Also, assume the interview has begun the moment you walk through the door. Bring with you:
A copy of your resume
Letters of reference
Other related certifications and/or a portfolio if necessary.
If your interview will be online , prior to your interview date, make sure you have the necessary software installed on your computer (Zoom, Teams, etc). If the program is new to you, consider getting a friend to help you practice using it prior to your interview. On the interview day, make sure:
Your background is clean and professional
Your microphone and camera are clear and functional
